1. Goals House – Beyond Aid: Financing Health Systems for Impact and Growth

Monday, September 22, 2025: private event, invite-only

Hosted by Seed Global Health and partners at Goals House, this event will explore a new vision for development: one that replaces fragmented, short-term aid with investments in strong national systems that deliver lasting, measurable results.

Our event will feature voices from across sectors to challenge outdated models and build support for a smarter, more sustainable path forward.

Speakers include Seed Global Health CEO Dr. Vanessa Kerry and CEO of The Beginnings Fund, Alice Kang’ethe.

2. Devex Impact House @ UNGA80 – Beyond silos: NCDs, climate, and resilience in the post-USAID era

At the Devex NDC Pavilion, focusing on solutions to the global challenge of noncommunicable diseases, our CEO, Dr. Vanessa Kerry, will participate in an editorial discussion on climate and health in front of a live audience.

3. Frontline Health Workers Coalition – A New Vision for the Health Workforce: Addressing NDCs, global health security and emergencies

This panel event hosted by the Frontline Health Workers Coalition and partners will explore a new vision for the health workforce amid overlapping challenges and increasing demands on health workers.

Speakers from across the health workforce, NGOs, governments, donors, and multilaterals will share pragmatic, sustainable solutions as we re-envision the future of the health workforce to meet the multitude of challenges faced.
 
Sierra Leone’s Minister of Health, Austin Demby, will deliver the keynote address, and our Chief Program and Innovation Officer, Martin Msukwa, will join a panel discussion alongside coalition members colleagues.

4. COP30 presidency – Advancing Climate and Health Action on the Road to COP30: A Dialogue on the Belém Health Action Plan

Wednesday, September 24, 2025, 9:00 AM: private event, invite only

At this event the Brazil’s COP30 presidency will present an updated version of the Belém Health Action Plan, along with its supporting documents, as part of efforts to secure endorsements from relevant stakeholders – aiming to raise awareness and build consensus for the plan outside the health sector.

Our CEO, Dr. Vanessa Kerry will speak during a panel discussion during the event with Dr. Jarbas Barbosa, Director at the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO), and Dr. Youssef Nassef, Director of Adaptation at UNFCCC.

5. Foreign Policy Health Forum

Seed Global Health will co-host a session at the Foreign Policy Health Forum, focusing on the future of global health financing.

6. Roundtable – Prepared to Respond: Investing in Health Workforce Readiness and Resilience in a Volatile World

Thursday, September 25, 2025, 9:00 AM: private event, invite only

This Seed roundtable in partnership with Johnson & Johnson will address the question of how governments, the private sector, and civil society can fortify health systems and better equip frontline workforces to respond to the growing, complex health needs and climate-related emergencies we face.

Attendees will identify innovative financing and policy solutions, align cross-sector partnerships, and boost the visibility of frontline health workers on international agendas, especially in the lead-up to the World Health Summit, COP30, and beyond.

7. Semafor Summit – The Next 3 Billion

The Next 3 Billion brings together global leaders to explore how connecting the 3 billion people who remain offline can shape the future of innovation, prosperity, and inclusive growth. As part of the summit, participants will consider how investments in health can drive economic prosperity.
