Seed Global Health is thrilled to announce that it has received the award for Outstanding Contribution to Safe Motherhood in Health Workforce Capacity Building for Maternal and Newborn Health at Uganda’s recent Safe Motherhood Conference, held on October 31, 2024, at the Commonwealth Resort Munyonyo. Organized annually by Uganda’s Ministry of Health, the conference and awards dinner recognize exceptional efforts that advance maternal and newborn health across the country.

Through collaborative partnerships with universities and hospitals, Seed Global Health has supported the development of skilled health workers by offering virtual and in-person training opportunities, such as grand rounds and continuing medical education (CME) sessions. Seed has also played a key role in establishing and enhancing simulation labs for maternal and newborn health training, creating an environment where healthcare workers can practice and perfect critical skills.

This recognition is a testament to the dedication of our team and partners, who work tirelessly to improve maternal and newborn health outcomes and save lives across Uganda
