The 27th United Nations climate change conference (COP27), held in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Egypt, hosted representatives from nearly 200 countries for 12 days of events and negotiations.

During COP27, Seed Global Health CEO Dr. Vanessa Kerry gave voice to the critical issues straining already-taxed global health systems in the face of fast-advancing climate change.

In an interview from Egypt with CNN correspondent Julia Chatterley, Dr. Kerry explains why Seed Global Health is advocating for immediate action to build climate change resilience through investment in health systems, focusing first and foremost on investing in the global health workforce — the foundation of a robust and resilient health system.
